At first, this item may appear to be possibly some sort of cryptic, morbid prediction. As the viewer studies the message in conjunction with the image ever more carefully, this is one of those things that may raise more questions than answers. Is this piece just about death? Is this piece making a feeble attempt to state that regardless of race all mankind will eventually be just a pile of bones? The skull happens to be facing right. Maybe the artist is trying to say that one day we will all face the right direction. The world may never know.
This is an acrylic painting on a birch panel that measures 8" wide by 10" tall by 1 1/2" thick.
